With over 7 years of experience, Ruthanna Levy is a graduate of the esteemed San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. She has been a trainer with Sirius Puppy Training for many years, and also teaches Canine Freestyle classes.

PUPPY 1 According to world-renowned animal behaviorist and veterinarian Dr. Ian Dunbar, early puppy training is the key to preventing common behavior problems, including aggression, later in life. Early exposure to numerous other people and puppies their own age is vital to your puppy growing up to be a well-socialized and well-mannered adult dog. There’s no end to what you can teach your puppy to do, and since you’re starting early, you’ll be able to develop good habits instead of trying to reverse bad habits. Puppy 1 is a six-week course and pups are to attend every session. Enrollment includes a free copy of Dr. Ian Dunbar’s book "Before and After You Get Your Puppy".
